Drawing the figure: The human form is the most elegant construction in the universe. The study of this miraculous moving machine is the basis of world of great art and maybe even the key to creativity itself. Artists and models have engaged in this intimate dance of light, line and movement for over 3000 years. This sacred agreement between artist and art model is at the core of the Art Temple and a variety of class sessions will be offered to enliven the creator in everyone.

Quick Sketch: Quick Sketch is the improvisational dance of drawing. It’s all about the feeling. We will be drawing the model in lively poses of one to three minutes each. The emphasis is on motion and emotion. This session will be taught by former Disney Animator and live painter Dave Zaboski and world renowned artist and live painter Ryan Wurmser.

The Line of Fire: Five hundred years ago there was a flowering of art the likes of which the world had never seen and has not seen since. The Renaissance brought us amazing artists whose works still resonate across the eons. And many of those artists had one mysterious art teacher: Virocchio. Join Ryan Wurmser as he reveals the secret of the “Line of Fire,” a seminal teaching taught by Virocchio to his famous students and lost to time- until now.

Long figure pose: For those who want to sink into the beauty of form and light, we’ll be offering instruction on longer poses of 15 to 45 minutes. Positive and negative space, line, balance, light, lost and found edges and the turning of form will all be touched upon in this more meditative session.
Infinite Creativity: Never be blocked, never be stopped and never be stifled in your creative life again. Join Dave Zaboski in a session on Infinite Creativity and learn how to use the same forces used by life itself to create. Dave will show you how to follow the path from pure imagination to manifestation and you will see your capacity to create shift into high gear.

Gestault singing: If you’ve ever wanted to find your voice, this session is for you. Through the power of vibration and sound we will explore a deeper connection to self and community. Using guided imagery and vocalizations, Gestalt Singing will help you to open to the music of the spheres and magic you have inside just waiting to be shared.

Vision board: When you can see it and feel it, you can create it. Making a vision board can be an important step to creating a wish fulfilled life. In this session you will have minimal guidance, scissors, some magazines and tape. You keep what you make and then you go on to make the world a better place.

Cardboard Creations: You will be invited to play with the people from Caine’s Arcade and exercise your imagination!  Create an Arcade Game or a sculpture or a Time-Machine!!! Whatever you are inspired to produce.  Cardboard Art will be on display at the Festival created by Artists on the great Cardboard Challenge – Global Day of Play this October 6th…. Come and have no expectations and allow your creative freedom to guide your choices!!
